“Get-Out” Leads the Pack with Five 2018 Independent Spirit Nominations

                      The nominations for the 33rd Independent Spirit Awards are in, and “Get Out,” leads the pack with 5 noms for this year’s slate.

The breakout hit is nominated in the category of  Best Feature, Best Director (Jordan Peele), Best Male Lead (Daniel Kaluuya), Best Screen Play and Best Editing. Netflix’s “Mudbound,”  starring Mary J. Blige and Jason Mitchell will receive the Robert Altman Award

John Mulaney and Nick Kroll will return to host the 33rd Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, March 3.
