Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian Tie the Knot

It’s official, Serena Williams is now Mrs. Alexis Ohanian.

Pictured in a photo posted to her personal Instagram page on Friday evening, the new mommy and bride looked stunningly beautiful as the camera captured her in the all-white princess gown designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.  The bride, the greatest female athlete on the planet and her new husband Internet entrepreneur, the founder of Reddit, hosted a star studded wedding in New Orleans.

On September 1, Serena gave birth to the couple’s first child, Alexis “Olympia” Ohanian, Jr., and the two parents are absolutely over the moon with their now 2-month-old daughter. The baby, who already has more than 105,000 Instagram followers, was present for the ceremony last night and looked on as her mom and dad tied the knot among 200 family and friends in NOLA.

As quoted in Vogue.com, “Alexis really wanted to do New Orleans,” explains Serena. “It’s his favorite city besides Brooklyn. It’s got a heavy European influence; it’s fun and has amazing food. He just loves the vibe. The venue—the Contemporary Arts Center of New Orleans—was a decision we both made. Painting and art is something I’m really passionate about, so it just felt natural and different to do it at a contemporary art museum.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
