‘Underground’ star, Amirah Vann Joins USA Network’s ‘UNSOLVED: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G.’

 

‘Underground’ star, Amirah Vann (How to Get Away with Murder, Law & Order SVU) joins the cast of USA Network’s ‘UNSOLVED: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G.’

The NAACP Image Award nominee will play the recurring role of FBI Agent Justine Simon, the youngest and only female member of the 2006 task force.

UNSOLVED chronicles the dual police investigations of Detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel) and Detective Russell Poole (Jimmi Simpson) into the controversial murders of two of the rap industry’s most legendary players. Amirah joins Marcc Rose and Wavvy Jonez, who play Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. on screen. The series will debut on USA Network this winter 2018.

From Universal Cable Productions, UNSOLVED: THE MURDERS OF TUPAC AND THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. is a true crime anthology series that chronicles the dual police investigations of Detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel) and Detective Russell Poole (Jimmi Simpson) into the controversial murders of two of the rap industry’s most legendary players, Tupac Shakur (Marcc Rose) and The Notorious B.I.G. (Wavyy Jonez). Emmy® winner Anthony Hemingway (“The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story”) is set to direct and will executive produce along with Mark Taylor through their Hemingway | Taylor production company. Kyle Long (SUITS) is writing the pilot and will also executive produce. Former LAPD Detective from the 2006 investigation into the murders Greg Kading will also serve as co-executive producer.
